Carlota Ciganda Wins The Final Ladies European Tour Event

Carlota Ciganda won the Andalucia Costa Del Sol Open de Espana, the last event of the 2024 Ladies European Tour, held at Real Club Guadalhorce Golf. This is her eighth win on the LET and her second at this particular tournament, with her first win in 2021. Despite beginning the final day with some struggles, Ciganda ended with a score of 18 under par to clinch the victory. She started the day with a four-shot lead but faced challenges early on, making two bogeys. However, she recovered with key birdies, especially on the 14th and 17th holes, to secure the win.

Manon De Roey from Belgium came in second, playing a strong final round without any bogeys to finish at 17 under par. India’s Pranavi Urs had her best finish on the LET, coming in third. Other notable players included Helen Briem from Germany in fourth place and Spain’s Andrea Revuelta, who was the top amateur, tying for fifth place.

English players Annabel Dimmock, Hannah Screen, Alice Hewson, Liz Young, and Bronte Law all finished in the top 16. The LET Order of Merit ended with Switzerland’s Chiara Tamburlini leading, followed by De Roey and England’s Charley Hull.
