Mitsubishi, the iconic Japanese automobile brand, has introduced its latest offering, the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SUV, to the Bangladesh market. The vehicle, priced at Tk49.5 lakh, was unveiled at a grand launch event at the flagship showroom in Tejgaon, Dhaka, by RANGS Limited, the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Bangladesh.
The Outlander Sport SUV boasts cutting-edge technology, premium features, and a robust design that caters to the diverse demands of Bangladeshi drivers. Powered by a 1,499cc 4-A-91 DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder (1.5L MIVEC) engine and equipped with a continuously variable transmission (F-1-CWA), this vehicle is built for smooth yet powerful performance.
One of the standout features of this SUV is its four special driving modes, tailored for various road and weather conditions, making it a reliable companion for both city roads and off-road adventures.
The vehicle also offers an impressive ground clearance of 222mm, adding to its adaptability on Bangladesh’s diverse terrains.
The interior reflects a fusion of luxury and comfort, with its black-themed, honeycomb-pattern leather-wrapped seats. It features an 8-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment system that comes with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Navigation capabilities. The spacious rear seats can comfortably accommodate three passengers, ensuring an enjoyable ride for family and friends.
Safety has been a priority in the design of the Outlander Sport. The SUV comes equipped with six airbags, anti-lock braking system, electronic brake pressure distribution, automatic stability control, blind spot warning, and rear cross-traffic alert technology. It also features active yaw control, designed for better traction on slippery roads, along with tyre pressure monitoring systems, electronic parking brakes, rearview cameras, and parking sensors.
On the exterior, the Outlander Sport presents a striking appearance with T-shaped headlights, rear combination lights, and 18-inch machine-cut alloy wheels. The SUV is available in six stunning colours, ensuring there’s an option for every taste.
During the launch event, Mohammad Hamdur Rahman Simon, CEO of RANGS Limited, highlighted Mitsubishi’s commitment to providing premium service. “We offer a five-year warranty and three free servicings, along with a nationwide sales and service network, ensuring customers get the best value and support,” Simon said.
Also present at the event were other key figures from RANGS Limited, including Shoeb Ahmed, Director of RANCON Auto Division 1, Mohammad Fahim Hossain, Divisional Head of Marketing, and Saleh Ahmed, Divisional Head of Finance. They emphasized that customers are welcome to test drive the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport at their flagship showrooms in Dhaka and Chittagong.
