Medalist Honors at 2024 LPGA Final Qualifying in Japan
Japan’s Miyu Yamashita played outstanding golf to win the top spot at the final stage of the LPGA Qualifying Series in Mobile, Alabama. With a score of 8-under 64 in the final round, she finished the tournament without making any bogeys in her last 36 holes. Yamashita, who has won 13 times on the Japan Ladies PGA Tour, earned her place as the leader by a wide margin, finishing six strokes ahead of the second-place finisher.
Joining Yamashita as new players on the LPGA Tour in 2025 will be 10 other golfers, including Chisato Iwai from Japan, who finished second. Chisato’s twin sister, Akie, also played well and finished among the top five.
Pauline Roussin-Bouchard from France finished in third place. She plans to play in both the LPGA and the European Tour, enjoying the flexibility of competing in various countries.

Manon De Roey, who played mostly in Europe in 2024, did well too, finishing fourth. Other notable players who secured their spots for the 2025 LPGA Tour include Azahara Munoz and Alena Sharp. Adela Cernousek and Julia Lopez Ramirez, who both turned professional recently, also earned their tour cards with strong performances.
