Bjerregaard Targets Comeback in Mallorca
Lucas Bjerregaard is ready for the Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final at Club de Golf Alcanada in Mallorca, aiming to secure his spot back on the DP World Tour. The Danish golfer has endured a tough season, starting with limited opportunities on the Challenge Tour and even competing in the Nordic Golf League to keep his career alive. Now, after five top-ten finishes, he sits in 20th place on the Road to Mallorca Rankings, putting him just within reach of one of the 20 DP World Tour cards available.
Reflecting on his journey, Bjerregaard shared, “I started off the year with not much of a category out here on the Challenge Tour and actually played a bit of Nordic Golf League to start. It’s great to be here at the Grand Final, and I’m really looking forward to the week. Hopefully, I can get my DP World Tour card back.”
This event marks the 29th and final tournament on the Road to Mallorca, a season that has taken players across 19 countries. Leading players like John Parry and Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen have already secured their spots on the DP World Tour but are back in Mallorca, competing for the title of Challenge Tour Number One.

For Bjerregaard, however, this week is about holding his ground and relying on his experience to stay steady under pressure. Mallorca’s Alcanada course, with its strong winds and challenging layout, adds to the task ahead. Fans can watch the Grand Final live worldwide as it kicks off on Thursday, October 31, bringing the season to a thrilling close.
