Jamal Hossain Triumphs at IndianOil Servo Masters Golf 2024. Bangladeshi golfer Jamal Hossain claimed a hard-fought victory at the IndianOil Servo Masters Golf 2024, securing his fifth Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) title at the Digboi Golf Links. Jamal demonstrated exceptional composure and skill to finish with a four-round total of 271 (-17), edging out Shivendra Singh Sisodia by a single stroke.
Jamal entered the final round with a slim lead and managed to hold his nerve, carding a solid 70 (-2) despite fierce competition. His earlier rounds of 68, 65, and 68 had set the stage for a dramatic conclusion on the challenging course.
“I’m incredibly proud of this victory. It’s not just a win for me, but for the entire golfing community in Bangladesh. This achievement motivates me to keep pushing boundaries and representing my country on the international stage.” said Jamal after receiving the winner’s trophy and a cheque for INR 12,75,000.
The tournament saw Shivendra Singh Sisodia finish second with a total score of 272 (-16). Meanwhile, the third-place tie went to Milind Soni and Mani Ram, who both posted scores of 273 (-15).
