Mohammad Rasel Wins K. Hossain Mainamati Open Golf Tournament

Mohammad Rasel emerged victorious at the K. Hossain Mainamati Open Golf Tournament, maintaining his lead from start to finish in a dominant four-day performance. His exceptional consistency and precision at the Mainamati Golf & Country Club secured him the prestigious title in this highly anticipated event, organized by the Bangladesh Professional Golfers’ Association (BPGA).

Rasel finished with a total score of 279 (-9), delivering steady rounds of 72-66-70-71 to claim the championship. His closest competitor, Akbar Hossain, fought hard but finished four strokes behind with 283 (-5) (69-73-71-70). Md Dulal Hossain, who impressed with an opening round of 64, lost momentum in later rounds and secured third place with 288 (E) (64-76-70-78).

The prize-giving ceremony was graced by Major General Abul Hasnat Mohammad Tariq, President of Mainamati Golf & Country Club, who attended as the chief guest and presented the awards to the winners. Major General Md Mashud Razzaq (Retd), President of BPGA, also honored the event with his presence, adding to the prestige of the occasion.
