Justin Thomas Takes Lead into Final Round of Hero World Challenge
Justin Thomas leads the Hero World Challenge going into the last day, sitting at 17 under par after a smooth round of 66 that featured no bogeys. Scottie Scheffler is just behind him by one stroke, finishing his day at 16 under after missing a chance for a birdie on the final hole.
South Korea’s Tom Kim had a notable day, shooting a 62 to climb to third place. He was close to tying the course record but faltered with a double bogey on the 17th hole. He wrapped up his round with a birdie from a bunker, putting him two strokes behind the leader.
Keegan Bradley, the U.S. Ryder Cup captain, had a solid performance with a 68, free of any bogeys, putting him four strokes behind at 13 under.
Scotland’s Robert MacIntyre had an up-and-down finish, netting four birdies and two bogeys in his final six holes to end the day at nine under.
