FIFTH ROLEX TITLE WITH DRAMATIC DUBAI WIN
Tyrrell Hatton captured his fifth Rolex Series title at the Dubai Desert Classic, matching Jon Rahm’s record with a one-shot victory at Emirates Golf Club. The Legion XIII star posted a final-round 69 to finish at 15-under, overtaking 54-hole leader Daniel Hillier.
The victory marks Hatton’s second win in six starts since joining LIV Golf, where he finished fourth in the 2024 Individual Championship standings. His recent run includes the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship victory, a runner-up at Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, and three additional top-10 finishes.
Clutch play defined Hatton’s Sunday performance, highlighted by a crucial birdie at 16 and a tournament-clinching 5-foot par putt on 18. “I’m not going to lie, I was pretty nervous on the back nine,” Hatton admitted after securing his 12th career victory.
