It is a qualifying tournament for the “Faldo Series Asia and Grand Final” scheduled to be held in Vietnam next year.
Area Commander of Logistic Area and Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Golf Federation Major General Md Zahirul Islam, Brig Gen Syed Md Rafiqul Islam, Secretary General of Bangladesh Golf Federation, and Administrators of Faldo Series Asia- Bangladesh Championship 2022 inaugurated the three-day junior golf tournament in the afternoon.
Some 75 junior golfers (boys and girls) from Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Golf Academy, and 10 affiliated clubs are taking part in different age group competitions.
The Faldo series, the largest junior tour, is participated by 40 countries across the world under the cooperation of the highest body of world golf —Royal & Ancient (R&A) and the Asian Tour.
