Emirates Extends Partnership with DP World Tour
Emirates has renewed its agreement as the Official Airline and Marketing Partner of the DP World Tour, extending the partnership until the end of 2031. The airline plays a crucial role in supporting various DP World Tour golf tournaments around the world, leading up to the prestigious DP World Tour Championship held in Dubai.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates, expressed pride in the airline’s long standing association with golf and its contribution to making Dubai a prime destination for top golfers and fans. The continued partnership with the DP World Tour allows Emirates to connect with golf enthusiasts from Europe, the US, Asia, Africa, and Australia, especially during the Race to Dubai competition.
Guy Kinnings, CEO of the DP World Tour, is pleased about the extended partnership, highlighting Emirates’ vast experience in sports sponsorships. He sees this long-term commitment as a testament to the strength of their collaborative efforts to promote golf globally.
Throughout this partnership, Emirates will benefit from significant branding visibility during the tour season. The airline will also enjoy marketing opportunities across the tour’s media and digital platforms, access to exclusive hospitality, and special Pro-Am golf events.
Emirates has the rights to be the Official Tournament Partner for 15 events each season on the DP World Tour calendar. They will continue to sponsor the tour’s Virtual Eye technology, which includes animated graphics for live TV broadcasts and digital content, offering fans detailed insights into players’ performances.

Additionally, Emirates will feature the “Fly Better Moments” on the tour’s digital channels, highlighting key moments from the golf course.
Emirates has been a prominent supporter of global golf events for decades, beginning with its sponsorship of the Dubai Desert Classic in 1989. Since then, the airline has played a pivotal role in supporting the end-of-season DP World Tour Championship since 2009 and became an official partner of the tour in 2014. Every year, over 60,000 golf fans attend the final championship in Dubai, where top players compete for the Race to Dubai title.
