Daffodil Captains Cup 2024 Culminates at Kurmitola
The three day long 7th Daffodil Captain’s Cup Golf Tournament 2024 concluded at the Kurmitola Golf Club, celebrating sportsmanship, community, and competition. The event culminated with a grand closing ceremony, where Lieutenant General Mohammad Shaheenul Haque, Commandant of the National Defence College and Vice President of Kurmitola Golf Club, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman of the Daffodil Family, joined the celebration, presenting trophies to the winners with the chief guest . A total of 650 men and women golfers from home and abroad took part in the three-day meet. Brigadier General Md Ahsanul Huq Miah (retd.) became the champion in the
tournament and Ihsan Mohammed finished runner-up while Shaila Parvin became
the woman’s section winner in the meet.
The tournament was further enlivened by cultural performances from the Daffodil International University Cultural Club, adding entertainment and energy to the event. A thrilling raffle draw kept both participants and guests engaged, making the event enjoyable for everyone present.
Kurmitola Golf Club’s scenic and challenging course provided an ideal backdrop for participants to showcase their talents, attracting golfers from various categories, including men, women, seniors, and juniors.
