The three-day-long “10th Shah Cement-AKS Cup Golf Tournament 2025” concluded at Kurmitola Golf Club, Dhaka Cantonment. Colonel Muhammed Nasir Uddin emerged as the Winner of the prestigious tournament. The Runner-up title was secured by Mr. Maruf Mohsin, while Mrs. Myounghee Kim claimed the Ladies Winner title.
Admiral M Nazmul Hassan, OSP, NPP, ndc, ncc, psc, Chief of Naval Staff, attended the prize-giving ceremony as the Chief Guest and handed over the awards to the winners at the Banquet Hall of Kurmitola Golf Club.
Lieutenant General Mohammad Shaheenul Haque, OSP, BSP, ndc, hdmc, psc, Commandant of the National Defence College and Vice President of Kurmitola Golf Club, was also present, along with Heroic Freedom Fighter Brigadier General Shahidullah Chowdhury, ndc, Executive Director of Abul Khair Group, and Brigadier General Abidur Reza Khan (Retd), Tournament Director of Kurmitola Golf Club.
Other notable attendees included Executive Committee members, Colonel Md Shahidul Haque (Retd), Colonel S M Sazzad Hossain, BSP, SPP, PPM, afwc, psc, Club Secretary, Kurmitola Golf Club, Prof. Shahin Mahbuba Haque, Lady Captain of Kurmitola Golf Club, high-ranking officials of the Bangladesh Navy, and representatives from Abul Khair Group.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with a large number of civil and military officials and their spouses attending the function, making the 10th edition of the tournament a grand success.
