Beau Hossler Hits An Impressive Hole-in-One

Beau Hossler had a very calm reaction after hitting an impressive Hole In One from a tee shot on the 11th hole during the second round of the World Wide Technology Championship at El Cardonal at Diamante. Despite not being able to see the ball land due to the green’s obscured view, his 8-iron shot from 179 yards went straight into the hole, but without any spectators around to witness, the achievement was quietly celebrated. Hossler simply handed his club back to his caddie amidst muted confirmations from his group pondering the closeness of the shot.

This hole-in-one was crucial as it marked his fifth birdie in ten holes, contributing to an impressive score of 62 for the day. This performance took him 64 places up the leaderboard to a tie for 35th place, a significant improvement from his first round score of 76. Hossler later remarked on the day’s play, focusing on the consistency and effort to make the cut after a tough start, rather than the excitement of the Hole In One ace itself.

Interestingly, while it was initially reported as his first career ace, Hossler clarified he had achieved this feat before at the Barracuda Championship the previous year, although it wasn’t captured on video.
