Sharif Wins The 2nd AGC Bangladesh Junior Golf Championship 2024
Winner of the 2nd AGC Bangladesh Junior Golf Championship 2024 is Md. Sharif from Savar Golf Club.
The three-day tournament, which concluded today with a prize-giving ceremony at the Army Golf Club, showcased exceptional talent. Major General Khan Firoz Ahmed, Senior Directing Staff at the National Defense College and President of Junior division, Bangladesh Golf Federation, attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest and presented the awards to the winners.
Among the distinguished guests were Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Golf Academy Major General Kazi Iftekhar Ahmed (Retd.), Vice President of Bangladesh Golf Federation Brigadier General Md. Towhid Hossain, SGP, ndc, psc, Secretary General of BGF, and other key figures from the golf community. The tournament was organized by the Bangladesh Golf Federation (BGF).
Sharif through his standout performance in this tournament he secure two victories, one is the opening event (Course Par 54 Holes) and another one is  the Under-21 Championship. He compete with 66 junior golfers from 14 different golf clubs. Alongside, Md. Faizan Hasan from Kurmitola Golf Club claimed the Under-14 Championship, while Md. Mahmud, also from Savar Golf Club, won the Under-17 Championship. In the female category, Maimuna Mahin of Uttara Golf Club was recognized as the best female player of the tournament
