Major General Sheikh Monirul Islam (Retd) rtained the title of the Aga Khan Gold Cup Golf Tournament, which concluded at the Kurmitola Golf Club, Dhaka on January 13, 2018.
Lieutenant General Md Nazim Uddin, psc, finished as runner-up and Neela Aziz secured the ladies’ winner title.
Principal staff officer of Armed Forces Division Lieutenant General Md Mahfuzur Rahman gave away prizes to the winners as chief guest of the ceremony.
Major General A K M Abdullahil Baquee, Vice President, Kurmitola Golf Club, Brigadier General Abidur Reza Khan (Retd), Chairman, Tournament Committee, Kurmitola Golf Club, Brigadier General Mohd Obaidul Haque (Retd), Chief Executive Officer, Kurmitola Golf Club, Group Captain M Lokman Farrukh (Retd), Lieutenant Colonel Md Abdul Bari (Retd), General Manager, Golf Operations, Kurmitola Golf Club, Mr. Sulaiman Ajanee, President, His Highness Prince Aga Khan Shia Imami Ismaili Council for Bangladesh, Mr. Altaf Ramzi, Vice President, His Highness Prince Aga Khan Shia Imami Ismaili Council for Bangladesh, other members of the Aga Khan community in Bangladesh and high officials of Kurmitola Golf Club with their spouses were also present during the closing ceremony.
