1st KDS New Year Cup Golf Tournament was held at the Shaheen Golf and Country Club in Chattogram in the first week of January. President of the club Air Vice Marshal Mohammad Mafidur Rahman watched the event and distributed prizes among the winners. Selim Rahman, president of KDS Group, was present as the special guest at the occasion. A total of 186 golfers including 22 women and 16 juniors participated in the tournament.
Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Humayun Rashed won the champion’s trophy while Jahin Ahmed Rana became the runner-up. Mrs. Morsheda Ashraf emerged as the ladies’ champion.
