15th Mobil Cup Golf Tournament 2025
The 15th Mobil Cup Golf Tournament 2025, a three-day event held from January 29 to 31, 2025, successfully concluded at Kurmitola Golf Club, Dhaka Cantonment. The grand prize distribution ceremony took place on February 1, 2025, at 8:00 PM at the Pool Side of Kurmitola Golf Club, with General Waker-Uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, psc, Chief of Army Staff, Bangladesh Army, and President, Kurmitola Golf Club, attending as the Chief Guest and presenting awards to the winners.
The event was attended by Lieutenant General Mohammad Shaheenul Haque, OSP, BSP, ndc, hdmc, psc, Commandant, National Defence College, and Vice President, Kurmitola Golf Club, along with Mr. Azam J. Chowdhury, Managing Director, Mobil Jamuna Lubricants (MJL) Bangladesh PLC, and senior company officials. Also present were Brigadier General Md Towhid Hossain, SGP, ndc, psc, Club Captain, Kurmitola Golf Club, Brigadier General Abidur Reza Khan (Retd), Tournament Director, Kurmitola Golf Club, Colonel Md Shahidul Haque (Retd), Chief Executive Officer, Kurmitola Golf Club, and Colonel S M Sazzad Hossain, BSP, SPP, PPM, afwc, psc, Club Secretary, Kurmitola Golf Club. The event also saw the participation of Prof. Shahin Mahbuba Haque, Lady Captain, Kurmitola Golf Club, and other officials.
A large number of golf enthusiasts, high-ranking civil and military officials, and their spouses attended the prestigious tournament, making it a grand success.
