15th Mobil Cup Golf Tournament 2025
The highly anticipated 15th Mobil Cup Golf Tournament 2025 Tees of Today at Kurmitola Golf Club (KGC) with Lieutenant General Mohammad Shaheenul Haque, Commandant of the National Defence College and Vice President of Kurmitola Golf Club, inaugurating the three-day-long tournament as the Chief Guest. The event, held from January 29 to 31, has attracted approximately 650 golfers, including participants from clubs across the country as well as international players.
The opening tee-off was attended by Azam J. Chowdhury, Managing Director of Mobil Jamuna Lubricants (MJL) Bangladesh PLC, along with senior officials of the company. Also present were Brigadier General Md Towhid Hossain, Club Captain of Kurmitola Golf Club, Brigadier General Abidur Reza Khan (Retd), Tournament Director, Executive Committee members of Kurmitola Golf Club, Colonel Md Shahidul Haque (Retd), Chief Executive Officer, Colonel S M Sazzad Hossain, BSP, SPP, PPM, afwc, psc, Club Secretary, and Prof. Shahin Mahbuba Haque, Lady Captain. High-ranking civil and military officials also graced the occasion, further elevating the prestige of the tournament.
The tournament will conclude with a grand prize distribution ceremony on February 1, 2025, at 7:45 PM at the Poolside of Kurmitola Golf Club. General Waker-Uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, psc, Chief of Army Staff, Bangladesh Army, and President of Kurmitola Golf Club, will attend as the Chief Guest to present awards to the winners.
